The Basics
Thanks for stopping by. I'm Ken Greene and this is the newest incarnation of my website KenGreene.net. I realize you have a choice when you browse the web and I'm glad you stopped by here to visit. Stick around for more...
As my friends & regular visitors know, I married a most wonderful woman, Midalia (a.k.a. - Mickie). The wedding took place on October 6, 2007 at our church in Chicago. It was a joyous event with God blessing the whole thing. Update: The long-awaited wedding photos are in. I've posted the pictures in the Photo Gallery, so hike on over there and look at the photos. Mickie & I have been married now for 2007-10-06 16:30:00 GMT-05:00 and it's glorious!
A little about me: I've been a computer geek for over 20 years. I started out in 1985 with a Commodore 64© with a floppy disk drive and got hooked on computers there and then. Since then, I've tried to learn all I could about computers and what makes them tick. I am self-taught and love playing around computers.
Want to learn more about me? Stop by my About Me page and read up on your favorite person... me. ;-)
What's the purpose of this website? In a nutshell, I want to empower you, the average computer user, to surf the internet free of predators and wackos that want to destroy your pc, hack/steal your data or outright make you look like a fool. What I aim to do is help you protect your computer, keep your stuff safe and save your dignity. Oh, and pay a lot less in doing it.
Four things to remember:
- Hoaxes - Don't be fooled!
- Scams - Don't get taken!
- Chain Letters - Don't do it!
- It's Your Computer - Protect it!
Emails
If it says 'Forward this to everyone you know...' It's a hoax.
